Community
A community for local and international creators in Barcelona
ArtBeats community started in 2022 by Latvian artist and curator Alona Belinska. She gathered the first artists and musicians to organise a small art expo with live music in Barcelona.
In 2023 ArtBeats community had a steep growth and a peak of big art expos: we had events that gathered 25+ artists, 15+ musicians and 200+ guests on average at each event.
In 2024 we experimented with formats, mixing electronic music with classical, DJ sets with violins, AI art and physical art objects. One of the most loved formats is the music jam session, where we gather musicians who experiment and create music on the spot.
Finding the right space for events was always a special part of the process, because the venue gives the atmosphere for the event. We collaborate with local galleries, music and art spaces.
Now, in 2026, we are opening our first physical space, ArtBeats.Space, in the heart of El Born in Barcelona. The space is small and cosy, features artworks of ArtBeats community creators and supports them.
Apart from the items in ArtBeats.Space we plan to host events: art and ceramic workshops, small music and art gatherings.
